Yoyogi park
Yoyogi Park is the fifth largest metropolitan park within the 23 wards, and is divided across the road into Area A, which is a forest park, and Area B, which has a track and field stadium and an outdoor stage. I'm here.
This place used to be the Yoyogi parade ground, but after the war, it became the site of Washington Heights, the lodgings of the US military, and became a park after passing through the athletes' village for the Tokyo Olympics. The trees, which were still young when the park opened, are now fully grown, creating a dense green forest together with the trees of the adjacent Meiji Jingu Shrine.
In May 1991, a waterscape facility with three large and small fountains and a water corridor with a height of 15m to 30m was completed, and the park was reborn as a park blessed with "water and greenery".
