Shiba Park
The Shiba Park area is one of the oldest parks in Japan. The grounds of Zojoji Temple during the Edo period were opened to the public as a park in 1873 by the Dajokan Decree, which established the park.
After World War II, it was separated from Zojoji Temple due to the policy of separating church and state. In 2004, a workshop was held to discuss the opinions of residents, and a basic plan was created.
With an area of 13,522.06 square meters, it is a park where anyone can relax surrounded by history and culture.
