Imperial Palace

The Imperial Palace is located in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, and on the premises are the residences of Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress, a palace, and the Imperial Household Agency. During the Tokugawa period, it was used as the residence of the shogun (Edo Castle). Nijubashi Bridge is also one of the best tourist attractions. The sidewalks around the Imperial Palace are popular not only as a walking course but also as a jogging course. Pre-registration is required to visit.

Visit to the Imperial Palace: 2 times in total, 1 time in the morning and 1 time in the afternoon, except for the holidays below.
Capacity, etc.: Capacity for advance application procedures: 200 people per session (However, up to 50 people per group)
Capacity for reception on the day: 300 people each time (first-come-first-served basis. Numbered tickets will be distributed)
Access by train: 10-minute walk from Otemachi Station (Subway Mita Line) or Nijubashimae Station (Subway Chiyoda Line)
