Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum
Opened in Marunouchi, Tokyo in the spring of 2010. Another attractive point is its easy access, being a 5-minute walk from JR Tokyo Station.
Three times a year, the museum holds special exhibitions focusing on modern art from the late 19th century to the early 20th century.
The red-brick building is a replica of Mitsubishi's 1894 Mitsubishi Ichigokan (designed by Josiah Conder).
The collection is centered on late 19th century Western art from the same era as the building.
Works by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Odilon Redon, Felix Vallotton, etc.
Inside the museum, there is a museum cafe "Cafe1894", a museum shop "Store1894", and a Marunouchi historical experience space "Historical Reference Room".
